Lost at Sea

Since the beginning of time, penguins have adapted to harsher climates in order to survive. Sadly, sailors have become their gravest danger as they hunt these magnificent animals, and collect their eggs for human consumption. Hunters, along with global warming have greatly compressed the penguin population. More than ever, time is running out for these waddling birds.

Inspiration
This lamp was designed to spread awareness, and start a conversation about the destructive actions of man on our ecosystems. The boat symbolizes unwanted visitors, followed by an empty coffin that symbolizes the potential for change.
