Mermaids signify good luck, and happy times ahead. Merfolk have been associated with folklore since the beginning of times, but sightings of these mystical creatures have never been confirmed. 

Inspiration
This work of art was inspired by the mermaids that inhabit Atlantis. An underwater city said to be non-existent. Depending on belief, some may argue that Atlantis is just a tale, but some claim it exists in uncharted waters. Existing under water and hiding in the depths of the ocean can feel isolating. In the quiet and calm hours of the night, merfolk gather in this secret magical lagoon. A place where they can splash and frolic with other merfolk and secret creatures of the sea.
