Web of Lies
A spiders web signifies death and mortality. A spiders web-made of a unique silk, is used to trap its prey. It is essential for a spiders survival. Although a web can signify the circle of life in the eyes of a spider, it can also be used as a metaphor to describe other types of mortality.
Inspiration
The "Web of Lies" was created to depict how lies can tarnish connections and relationships. Lies can be used to trap their prey, and in most instances the prey is too caught up in a web to notice. Eventually the web of lies can spin out of control until it gets so thick, that its no longer transparent looking. That is when the prey finally sees the danger and retreats.
